Zeus Soon the other patrol arrives and immediately begins to help the wounded. The wounded are gathered up in makeshift litters and taken back to the castle and a runner is sent ahead to have the castle prepare to receive the wounded knights. Luckily no one was hurt, but many need a lot of care and healing. Sir Hughant asks Lady Aris about what exactly happened with how the monster was defeated, but she avoids talking about it and seems somewhat distant. When the two patrols arrive at the castle, Lady Aris quickly heads to her room. After a few moments Zandril comes to her room. Zandril tells Aris that she isn’t going to scold Aris for her rash actions because Zandril understands that Aris had a long day. Zandril also inform Aris that her father would like to see her as soon as possible on the main balcony, but Aris isn’t going anywhere without first getting a quick bath and then a change of clothes. After Zandril practically forces Aris through a bath and a dressing, Aris reluctantly goes to see her father. Aris finds her father out on the main balcony. Her father comes here often because he loves the view. “Aris, I understand that you put yourself at risk today, more so than you normal do,” says King Fandorin calmly. “I’m sorry if I make you worry father, but today I only did what I felt was right,” Aris says in response. “Yes, you have a good heart like your mother,” her father pauses for a moment, “You do know that now that your powers have manifested, you will soon have to take the throne and lead Zeus.” “I don’t know if I’m ready for such a huge responsibility,” Aris says meekly. “Aris, I will always be by your side to help you and support you. Besides you still have to gather the Princesses of the 4 major Baronies that are on the moons of Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, Io. Tradition dictates that you form your court with those 4 Princesses,” her father says as if he was reading from a tome. “Yes, father, I understand my duty,” Aris says. “Good, then you best get some rest because I’ll have a craft ready to take you to the Baronies tomorrow morning,” says the King of Zeus in a firm tone. “Yes father,” Aris says quietly and then promptly rushes into the castle. The sinister looking stranger was gone as quickly as he appeared, not that anyone seemed to have noticed him in the first place with all the commotion surrounding the monster.
