Zeus Aris hurriedly runs from the balcony. She doesn’t even notice Captain Torlane or Sir Hughant as she runs past them. Both men can hear that Lady Aris is sobbing. “Why is she upset? You said that the power she demonstrated today means she is ready to assume sovereignty of Zeus,” asks the bandaged Sir Hugant as he watches Lady Aris flees down the hall. Captain Torlane replies, “Well you see there are two ways the heiress can assume the title of Queen of Zeus. The first is an elaborate ceremony where the current Queen relinquishes her power and right to rule and bestows it upon the Princess. This is considered probably the most memorable night of their lives for mother and daughter.” “Oh, no…” says Sir Hughant as it begins to dawn on him what is wrong. “Or the Princess merely gains the power when they are around 16 to 20 years old, if there is no one to past the power to the Princess,” continues Caprain Torlane. “So receiving the power is a painful reminder that her mother is not here to give it to Lady Aris? Poor Aris…..” Sir Hughant expresses sadly. Home | Zeus | Page 16 | Page 18 |
